Instructions for Authors and Presenters

The Electronics Goes Green 2020 conference will now be an on-demand virtual event of pre-recorded presentations combined with a live event on September 1, 2020.

What does that mean for you as presenters?

Full paper submission
Once you have confirmed to the organizers that you are onboard with the online format of the conference, the full paper is the next thing on your Electronics Goes Green to-do list! Please use the template provided. The minimum paper length for short contributions is 4 pages, for full contributions it is 5 pages. The maximum length for all papers is 8 pages. Please upload your finished paper both as a .docx-file and a pdf into your ConfTool account.

The upload deadline for the full paper is June 25, 2020

Pre-recorded video presentation
We kindly ask you to submit an audio/video presentation of your work. Taking the participants through your slides in a recorded presentation will allow you to explain your work in greater detail and make it a more personal and engaging experience for the attendees, hopefully similar to the live event we had planned. Whether you appear personally in the video, or whether the video contains only the slides accompanied by audio will be your choice. Full oral presentation slots are 20-25 minute in length, short oral presentation should be no longer than 10 minutes.

The submission instructions for presenters and the infrastructure to present and upload your presentation will be available on our website from July 15 onwards, together with a manual of different recording options. As the presentations are on-demand, not live, you can review and re-record your presentation until you are satisfied with the quality.

The upload deadline for the video presentation is August 10, 2020
